About Us

My name is Matt Heywood and after graduating from Loughborough University, I spent over 20 years in the Premium Automotive Industry working mainly in Safety, Aerodynamics and Vehicle Engineering.

Cycling has been my passion since childhood providing transport, joy and freedom. Since then, I have enjoyed most forms of cycling including Commuting, Touring, Racing (incuding representing GB at several Triathlon World Championships) and most importantly, Just Riding (see Palmares).

I also love bicycles and have owned hundreds of them over the years. I’m currently trying to reduce my obsession to the optimal n = 5 (see My Bikes).

Having risen to the position of Chief Engineer, I reflected that I had experienced and achieved almost everything I ever wanted to in my Engineering Career. Time for a change. “What do I love?”, I asked myself. The answer was Bikes, People and Challenge ...and the outcome is Precision Cycle Fit.

Bike Fitting

We want to make Bike Fitting accessible to all so we offer a 1 hour Junior bike fit priced at £65 all the way up to a 3.5 hour Physio Fit costing £400, with several options in-between and our free-form consultancy service. More details here.

Physio Fit:

For those who expect nothing less than perfection or have complex anatomical or musculoskeletal requirements, our Physio-Fit is an exciting opportunity to have your bike fit conducted by a chartered-engineer bike fitter and a chartered-physiotherapist in the same session. This allows us to deliver the highest possible level of bike fit personalization. More details here.

Home Trainer Fit:

With the increased popularity of indoor riding and dedicated machines from Wattbike, Wahoo, Zwift, Stages and Tacx, we have introduced a new service whereby we come to you for your indoor-trainer Dynamic Fit. This is available within a zone around 20 miles radius from Southam and will incur a travel cost, but its easier for you than trying to lug one of these monsters to our studio! More details here.

Bike Buying Advice

Buying a new bike can be a daunting prospect so we offer services ranging from a simple "this is the type and size of bike best suited to you" all the way up to identifying and building your dream bike. More details here.
